Hi, My Name Is Ryan
Hi everyone!
My name is Ryan Hicks and I'm a new developer here at Bonanzle; in fact, I've already built out some of the recent features for Facebook. To those of you who have posted in the forum or commented on this blog -- I absolutely hear what you're saying about ways to improve on what we've already got. Alex and I have been scheming some schemes that I think should help get you lots of shoppers.
Back to what I will be doing here at Bonanzle. I'm a user experience guy and I'll be thinking of ways to delightfully smooth out the big and small things that you interact with. I'll help Bonanzle become better, faster, stronger than it was before. But what excites me most is getting feedback from the community on the changes I make. There are other places I could work where I never get to talk to the folks who use the site I build -- I gather that isn't the Bonanzle way. Let's keep it that way.
As for myself, I'm a daddy of two boys: a three-year old and a two-month old. As such, I'm a big fan of all things Thomas The Tank Engine, monkeys, and the color green. I enjoy watching a good cooking show with my wife (she was for Aarti all the way...while I rooted for Tom, hrmph!) and giving a good scratch to my dog, Fairlie the Labradoodle.
Before Bonanzle, I did some cloud computing at Skytap, social publishing at Wetpaint, and fine jewelry retailing at Blue Nile. For those of you keeping score, I've been working with Alex for over 10 years. Before that, I studied technical writing at the University of Washington -- though I can still manage to split an infinitive in a sentence that ends with a preposition in my introductory blog post.

LOL great family photo love the tounge action on your oldest little hunk …so besides all that high tech stuff and knowing sentence structure you got the position cuz you like the color green ………makes me wonder if you had said orange and green during the job interview how far that would have gotten ya ummm we need to add some mass to Bill as you can see (or rather not see if he turns side ways) He is on the thin side soooo if after watchin those cookin shows use your new boss as a tester for your eating sensations !…just my 2 cents and as long as my skirt doesnt fly up the world is doing ok !!!

Hi Ryan and thanks for your message. Appreciate your message and welcome to the Bonanzle site. I’m a rather new member on Bonanzle with booth “Peterson Enterprises”. I joined Bonanzle in June and I am still building my booth inventory product line. I have about 142 items thus far and try to add some at least weekly. I also have listings on Amazon.com and the Atomic Mall. I like Bonanzle and find it easy to use and enjoy the social aspect as well. I probably am like others on the site, as I could use a lot more traffic to my booth as well. I did have 1 sale last week, which was my first, but trying different methods to encourage. Maybe, if you have time, you could visit my booth and if you have some suggestions for me, would appreciate hearing from you.
