Very strange thing happening with number of views...

one day number of views shows 8 (my shop is only about 3 weeks old), next day 12, next day back to 8, today was 82, a couple hrs later shows 63....why and how is this happening ??? is that some sort of hacking ???

Upc codes, are they necessary?

are they necessary? I'm getting views without them. But it says that google wont advertise them without UPC codes. So do I need to re-edit all my listings and put UPC codes in or will it be ok without them? Whats the diff between a UPC, MPN and EAN?
