Used.  There are a number of flaws such as name written on bottom, large crack / split as seen in photos (actually rather hard to see when on display) name written on bottom, small crack on wood handle, as well as the typical scuffs and scrapes you would expect. There could be other flaws too, I'm not an expert, but please see pictures for best description of condition.  Despite the crack, it remains very sturdy.  Great looking, cool item.
