Being offered for your consideration is this early Silver Plate Tea Set by Shaw & Fisher. This beautiful, rare and ornate set was manufactured circa 1860 and is in remarkable condition. The set displays beautifully and retains its original silver plate finish with minimal antique wear. We have found no damage other than one insulator missing (see images) with no repairs or noticeable denting. The set consists of a Teapot, Coffee Pot, Creamer and Waste Pot. The Teapot and Coffee Pot are marked on the bottom with an incised mark "Shaw & Fisher Suffolk Road Sheffield". This is a full size set with the teapot measuring 9 1/2" tall and coffee pot measuring 7 1/8" tall. An extraordinary set sure to add value and beauty to any collection or setting!
