This is a Blub ONLY listing. At the end of each season bulbs swell up as the leaves die back. Therefor, what is left of the leaves will be removed before shipping to prevent leaf spoilage during the shipping process. Large bulbs are great for pickling or planting.

Suggested fresh ramp uses:
- Cut up and add to any dish as you would an onion (soups, potatoes, eggs, beef roast, etc.)
- Pickled ramps (great gifts)
- Ramp Butter (to really impress your friends and family)
- Dehydrate and mince leaves for a dried spice to use year round
- Dehydrate bulbs (cook in wine, water or oil to bring the ramp back to life in any dish)

According to a study done by North Carolina State, replanting ramp bulbs should result in a harvestable population within 2-3 years, if planted in suitable conditions. This differs greatly from planting ramps from seed, which takes 5-7 years minimally before harvest. (https://content.ces.ncsu.edu/cultivation-of-ramps-allium-tricoccum-and-a-burdickii)

Replanting recommendations: Find older growth hardwood forest ideally rich in organic matter and moisture. Plant in small groups 3-4 inches deep, spacing 6 inches apart. Cover plantings with a few inches of old leaf litter. If a wooded area is not available, attempt replant in a shaded area. Once replanted, expect the leaves to die back by the end of May, with growth returning the following spring. Happy planting! Grow some, eat some.

Kindly drop us a message with pictures if the plant is damage during transit. Thank you!
