Feast your eyes on this #4253 Magic Princess Castle Royal Bedroom set! This was one of the add-on sets Playmobil produced to furnish their Magic Princess Castle #4250. I've painstakingly examined the contents of this set and it's 100% complete.

This set features a lovely young Princess in her Royal Bedroom trying on different outfits, jewelry, and head gear etc. This is a hard set to find complete with all of its tiny accessories (e.g. dressmaker's dummy, wig, puffed sleeves, hat with two different feathers, perfume bottle, thin crown, pink beaded necklace and pendant necklace etc.) and in this condition (EXC-EXC++). The Princess debates whether to wear her fashionable white, rose trimmed, slender dress or to go "all out" and add her full, hoop-like skirts. She sits at her lavish vanity and brushes her hair before she decides which piece of jewelry she wants to wear and whether she wishes to "go out" incognito by shedding her crown and wearing her "statement" hat. At the end of a long day, the Princess can collapse on her bed to get some needed rest before she tackles another day. With the exception of the white wig, all of the other components of this set are in NEAR MINT-MINT condition. The white wig has one tiny tooth mark on it. Due solely to this tooth mark, I've lowered the overall rating of this set from NEAR MINT-MINT to EXC-EXC++.

FYI, Playmobil toys are renowned for their high quality, durability, attention to detail, and the extendibility of their underlying toy system. All figures are scaled to fit in a child's hand with add-on accessories (e.g. hats, skirts, aprons, collars, scarves, armor, head dresses, shoes, sandals, jewelry etc.) lending authenticity to the different characters involved. The jointed figures are able to clasp items in their hands and move about through "child power."

All of Playmobil's play sets revolve around established "themes" familiar to young children (e.g. Medieval Castles and Knights, Pirates, Western Forts, Native Americans, Trains, Stage Coaches, Gold Mines, Circuses, Zoos, Victorian Mansions, Fairy Tale Castles, Sherwood Forest, Construction, Doctors and Dentists' Offices, Hospitals, Airports, Modern Homes etc.).

Given the high level of detail, children's imaginations are afforded endless open-ended play opportunities. Not only do these toys broaden a child's imagination, creativity, attention, and use of elaborate oral narratives, they also have earned numerous toy awards and conform to the highest production standards of quality and safety in accordance with European and American safety guidelines. This particular set was manufactured in Malta. Playmobil toys are distributed in more than 70 countries throughout the world.

Due to the small, intricate parts, Playmobil recommends that these toys be reserved for children 4 years of age and up. However, my daughter, who never mouthed her toys and was advanced for her age, received her first Playmobil toys at 2 1/2 years of age. Adult supervision is highly recommended for children under 3-4 years of age.

This is an exquisite set and one that beautifully complements the Magic Princess Castle. This set weighs @6 oz. UNWRAPPED. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905).

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.

In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.

Since Bonanza's shipping calculator does NOT offer Fed Ex Home Delivery as a shipping option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO MANUALLY CHECK THESE RATES AND INSERT THEM INTO YOUR INVOICE. Otherwise, the shipping calculator may overcharge you.

Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.
