The forty-ninth installment in the Bobbsey Twins series featuring the twelve year old fraternal twins Nan and Bert with the six year old fraternal twins Flossie and Freddie involved.

Light rubbing to upper and lower spine edges, mild faint green stains to the front cover, else very good in beige-and-green threaded boards with the twins and dog portrait illustration surrounded by decorative diamond patterns in deep-green to the front cover, and with deep-green titles and a decorative diamond pattern to the spine, upper page edges green, end-papers illustrated with a patterned toy motif; in a very good dust jacket with a few very short tears, a hint of fading to the spine panel and with tiny nicks to the upper and lower spine edges; original printed "100100" to the upper, "70-100" to the lower, and last title in the list "OWN LITTLE FERRYBOAT" all to the front inner flap.

Unusual in the first edition with dust jacket.
