Dated 1945, with written notation "In remembrance" and SIGNED by Grace Moore to a Portrait photograph that is affixed to the front end-paper.

Two typed letters SIGNED by Grace Moore's secretaries Madeline Detlefs and Helen Matthews, are housed in their original stamped and addressed mailing envelopes.
One envelope is affixed to the inside front cover and the other envelope is affixed to the verso of the front end-paper.
The two letters contain wonderful content about Grace Moore, one stating that she worked hard on this book, putting a lot of personal and musical information--and that she just left for Canada.
The other letter states that Moore's schedule has been full and that the autograph is enclosed and should be put in the book YOU'RE ONLY HUMAN ONCE.

The Academy Award-nominated actor/singer writes about her personal life, and her rich career, her star friends, her life at Cannes, her Paris years with the literati, and the behind-the-scenes film and theater personalities and stars she worked with.

Moore was an operatic soprano on Broadway, then internationally, and then a successful film actress.
 She died in a plane crash in 1947 at the height of her fame.

A film was made portraying her life in 1953 titled SO THIS IS LOVE.

Light shelf-edge wear, spine slightly age-toned, else very good in grey linen with burgundy embossed illustration depicting sheet music to the front cover, and with burgundy embossed titles to the spine; lacking a dust jacket.
