California Perfume Company Extremely rare, original illustrated California Perfume Company catalog (not a repro!). Features perfumes, gift boxes, sachets, beauty creams and products, soaps, flavoring extracts, tooth powders, car and furniture polish, and more. The California Perfume Company was later to become the company, Avon Products. No date of publication but there is a 1915 Panama Exhibition award on the back page. Embossed black leather boards. Oblong (16" x 10.25"). Contains 32 hyper-saturated chromolithographic illustrations of the products. Opposite each illustration is a page (with the same pagination) with a text description and price. The sales representative who formerly owned this catalogue has made some penciled notes about some of the products. |
