Very rare first edition of this fictional account of a "Woman of Quality", the Marquise de Courtanville. This is the 3rd book in the Memoires de la Marquise de Courtainville series written by Lambert  in imitation of "Memory and Adventures of a Man of Quality" by the Abbé Prévost. I could not find another copy of the 1st edition listed online.
 

Original full calf leather with 4 gilt-deocrated bands. 360 pages. Page edges reddened. 5" x 3".
