Vintage Hofbauer "Byrdes Cut Crystal Covered Cheese/Butter Dish. Hofbauer produced a variety of "Byrdes"

 cut crystal glass pieces from mid 1950's to late 1990s. 

This lidded butter dish is great example of Hofbauer's craftsmanship in their finely cut designs on the entire dish.

 The Byrde is very distinctive on the butter plate and 3 places symmetrically around the lid. 

The dish was previously owned in like new condition with no cracks or scratches. It is 6 1/2" high and 7 1/4" in diameter.

A few teeth on the plate have nicks.
