Measures 8-1/2" X 11-1/16", 33 pp plus covers, "Essays In Sound" written by Judy Henske, published by Hansen Publucations Inc. (FL).

These 16 songs were originally recorded by Judy Henske on her first two LPs on the Elektra label, entitled JUDY HENSKE from 1963 and HIGH FLYING BIRD from 1964.  In addition to the piano arrangement, each song also features a full page of the guitar solos from each song, PLUS a bizarre and bewildering "essay in sound" written by Judy Henske, which attempts to bring meaning, or definition, or closure or. . .whatever to nearly every song.  PLEASE NOTE:  These are NOT the same humorous introductions which Judy had used on the records themselves -- these are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT introductions, which I'm sure will bring even more joy, wisdom and understanding to each and every Judy Henske fan. On Judy's own words, "A fat pink cloud hung overhead."  Enjoy!
