This is the 2021 USPS issue of 20 First Class self adhesive FOREVER stamps for one of the best and most celebrated Major League Baseball players of his era, Yogi Berra (1925-2015). He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972 and was a posthumous recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian award.

The stamp is an original digital illustration sketched first with graphite and pastel pencils then scanned and digitally applied with layers of color to add highlights and detail.

Art director Antonio Alcala designed this stamp with original art by Charles Chaisson and lettering by Mchael Doret..
