This heirloom variety amaranth has been passed on for generations within my family and is very nutritious, the deep red foliage is packed with flavor and essential nutrients. This variety plant is amazingly gorgeous displaying leaves, stem and flowers with their red color. The matured plant with loads of flower lets your neighbors think you have an ornamental plant which is a compliment but you know this plant gives you more than what you want. The entire plant including tender stems, leaves and seeds are edible.



This is "a premium fast growing strain that can reach height over 9 feet" within few weeks and produces tons of deep red tassels. Stakes and cages are required to support plant for growing it tall.
