------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bob Montgomery was born in Chicago, but lived most of his life in Southern California. After attending Pasadena city College, he received a scholarship to the Chouinard Art Institute where he majored in design and painting. This was the same art school that during the same era produced artists like Patrick Nagel, Chuck Jones, Roy Williams and Corita Kent., Later, Mr. Montgomery developed a strong interest in printmaking and graphic design. Specifically he enjoyed experimenting with Serigraphs and lithography, using bright bold colors but transcending pop art cliché. ---
