PETER WONG (1953- ):
Peter Wong is a Taiwanese American professional artist who resides in Half Moon Bay, California. He graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a Degree in Fine Art. He is versatile in different media such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and charcoal. His special interest is watercolor in which he finds this media fluid, spontaneous, expressive and techniques which are forever changing. His originals and lithographs are in many galleries' collections in U.S and in Canada. Several California art publishers held limited and open editions of his art works. Besides being a fine artist, Peter Wong is also an accomplished muralist, an illustrator for educational book publishers, and a creative artist for shirt manufacturers. His subject matters in paintings and drawings include landscape, still-life, portraits, botanical and abstracts. His global traveling experience inspires his variety of many scenic paintings.
