Vintage Satsuma Vase Kannon Rakan Moriage 5"

This sale is for a beautiful vintage Japanese Moriage Satsuma Earthenware vase.  The background is black and it is accented with gold.    There is a Motif of Kannon, the Japanese Buddhist Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, and on the other side there is a Rakan ... one of the enlightened ones in Japanese Buddhism.  This vase is in almost perfect condition.  There is a little rubbing on the gold work as you might expect on a vintage piece.  There is a faint figural backstamp.  It is a beautiful piece and I have identified it to the best of my ability.  If you feel that there is anything incorrect in this description...please let me know.

Preloved...but this looks almost perfect to me...no chips, dings, or fleabites.

I prefer to ship via priority mail...or first class. Free tracking number for domestic shipping. I wrap item in the way that I think is the safest, but, I can't be responsible for the post office.

Most of my items are vintage. Any vintage item should be considered used and should be expected to have some level of normal wear from age or storage.

I ship from a non smoking house, but I don't know the story of these items before I get them. I generally steam all the plush before shipping. Even so. some people may notice odors that I don't, so I can't say that they are odor free, smoke free, or pet free.
