Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Twin Size Solid Wood Bed Frame. It is in very good condition, with only some light surface scratches on the head and foot boards, but more scratches on the side rails. I am unsure of the age or origins of the bedframe. The cane inset panels on both the head and foot boards is in great condition, with no holes or breaks. The metal hook on the ends of the side rails is a bit loose and may need to be glued in. The bed frame will fit a standard twin size mattress. The side rails are each 74” long and 7” from top to bottom. The foot board is 39” tall, 41.25” wide, with the cane panel being 32.25” wide, 18.75” tall, and the slots where the side rails fit in are 39.5” apart. The headboard is 41.25” wide, 54” tall at the side, 55.25” tall at the center. The back side of the headboard, that would normally most likely be facing the wall, is quite faded with a large portion of veneer lose at the top and was most likely in front of a window for many years, which caused this fading. The brace that holds in the cane panel is also a little separated at one corner. The style of the legs of this bedframe makes me think that it most likely was a Mid-Century piece. It is a lovely bed frame, and with a little restoration work, could be a beautiful addition to your Mid-Century décor room.
