Date: Uncertain but we believe they were made in the late 20th century.
Origin: Purchased at an estate Auction in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plate was made in United Kingdom.
Size: The plate measures ~8 1/8" in diameter and is ~3/4" in height. The two plates together weigh about 1 pound and 7 ounces. Maker: Wedgwood.
Marks: Marked on the bottom with the image of a black Greek vase with the following text in gold lettering under glaze below it "WEDGWOOD; Bone China; Made in England; COLONNADE W4340" which can be seen in the photos.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Two nice plates in a rather desirable pattern that are in very good condition. Would make a great addition to your collection.
Condition: The plates are in very good, lightly used, condition. They have no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. The plate shows no losses of coloring or the gold edge coloring. We believe these plates saw very little use and therefore are in very good condition. Careful examination of the plate reveals each plate has a few surface scratches or utensil marks. However, these are not very obvious, can only be seen when the light is correctly angled, and the plates look great. Please see photos for additional condition information.
