This is a softcover book, "Wish You Were Here" by Stewart O'Nan. A New York Times Noteable Book from 2002. Here is a synopsis of the story by the publisher:
"When Emily Maxwell's husband dies, she knows she has to sell their summer place on Lake Chautauqua in New York State, and for one final week there, she gathers the clan: her daughter, Meg, who has her drinking problem under control--barely; her son, Ken, a failed photographer; Ken's lesbian daughter, who has a crush on Meg's daughter; his son, who steals things; and other equally troubled family members. On a brief trip to Niagara Falls, Emily's memories of her dead husband surface and make everyone realize the magnitude of their loss."
Book shows some minor wear, has a little discolored spot on the upper right corner. All pages are intact and there's no writing in it. Overall good reading condition. Asking $3.00 obo. Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.
