before you order a voltage converting transformer be sure that it is rated for more current ( in amps or watts) than the product you plan on using it with draws. these transformers list their maximum current in watts. your product may list the current it draws in amps. to find the apx. watts multiply the amps times the volts. so if your product is a 115 vac device that draws 1.6a you would need a transformer rated 184 watts or higher. if you are in doubt send us a question
