This is a 1950s graduated set of 4 porcelain trinket or tidbit dishes.  Dishes of this kind were sometimes used to hold nuts or candy on card tables at bridge parties and were also used by sinks to hold jewelry.  Although the original paper tags are missing, I recognize the printed marks from other items I've sold as being from pieces made in Japan (Lefton and possibly other companies).  The moss rose designs are transferware.  #25327

SIZE:  The size of these dishes ranges from 5 3/4" by 5 1/2" to the tiny one which measures 3 3/4" by 3 5/8".

SHIPPING:  I will pay economy shipping and insurance to US addresses.

BACKGROUND:  This set is among a large number of items I recently purchased from a neighbor who moved to assisted living.  I'll be listing other items purchased from her this week.

CONDITION:  This set is in excellent condition with no damage (except for a little wear to the transfer on the smallest dish).  There are no cracks, chips, or wear other than that.

WHY BUY FROM WANDERING CREEK?  I've been selling online for 25 years and guarantee that the information in my listings is accurate and that I will ship quickly with postage and insurance at my expense.  I offer free returns but do not offer partial refunds.
