This is a lovely vintage handbag patented in 1953! This is a "rigid" reversible handbag -- one purse with alternate panels -- two looks in one purse!

The outer panel can be reversed (black vinyl on one side, beautiful tapestry on the other) or removed completely to show a basic black handbag! It has a clear lucite handle.

I have seen several of these rigid reversible purses but this one has the prettiest tapestry type panel I've seen. Purse was made by L and M but only the "L" and Made in U.S.A. with patent number are legible.

Purse is in excellent condition -- has a couple tiny pits on top frame -- that's it! Very nice addition to a vintage handbag collection!
