Vintage Egyptian Scarab or beetle carved with "hieroglyphs", 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1" in size. Weighs 9 oz and makes a great paperweight. Fits comfortably in the hand. Not certain, but believe this is stone. Cool to the touch. There are 2 small chips on the bottom rim.
