Brand new factory sealed blu-ray has the RiffTrax option, that is a running commentary by the ex-Mystery Science Theatre 3000 legends. Some gore has been restored over the old GP theatrical release and has been re-rated as 'R'.

Dr. Roger Girard (an unusually calm Bruce Dern) spends every waking moment locked away in his home laboratory, worrying his glamorous wife (Pat Priest of TVs the 'Munsters') and prompting the question: how is it that these mad scientist, who can barely raise their eyes from their microscopes, always attract the hottest babes?

College chum Ken (Casy Kasem 'America's Top 40'), sporting gigantic '70s shirt lapels and belt buckle, drops by for the ten-cent tour, gawks at a two-headed monkey and learns of Roger's dream to one day perform the same sort of transplant on a human. Conveniently, the opportunity arises when Roger shoots a trespasssing serial rapist/murderer and, prodded by his creepy lab assistant, proceeds to graft the maniacs head onto the body of hired hand Danny, a Lenny-like man-child.

But the mad head takes control of the giant's body and the "two" escape to terrorize the country-side, one laughing gleefully while the other frowns in despair. Highlights include the monster's encounter with Hells Angels and an attack on Lover's Lane.
