What's on this DVD: US Army Paratroopers

1st Film: "D-Day Minus One". This Film was produced by the Army and tells the story about how the paratroops and the glider boys helped win the battle of D-Day. Many of these guys died the night before D-Day from accidents, enemy fire and some died on impact! They were also scattered in the night, but they did help secure Europe for the invasion. 2nd Films: "US Army Parachute Jumping". This film was also was produced by the Army to show the importance of the paratroopers. This is a Big Picture Film that shows the history of paratroops first, and then goes on to show target jumping. Great film. Runtime 28:32 Min's

3rd Film: "Paratroops". This film shows the training of Paratroops and also shows the winter training. These guys learn to ski and live in the winter wilderness. Looks cold to me. Great to see. Runtime 9:03 Min's

4th Film: "Nazi Paratroops". This is a collection of Nazi newsreel films on the Nazi paratroops. This film shows paratroop basic training, the invasion of Crete (which they were very famous for), and then on to Italy. Great stuff!!! Runtime 21:56 Min's

5th Film: "Paratroop Training". This is a collection of Newsreels from the Army Air Forces. 1st - Air-Men, 2nd - Paratroops over Panama, 3rd - Paratroop Mascots, 4th - Paratroops prepare for battle, 5th - Para school in Pacific, 6th - Ike Thanks the 101^st, 7th - War games-Longhorn.
