According to the ancient Iranian legend, the mythical bird Simоrgh (bird from the top of the mountain / tree) lives on a high mountain under the sacred tree of seeds of all plants. It extends the seeds all around the world and protects the world tree from creatures of the underworld such as reptiles and serpents.
