Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Gate-fold cover looks good; a few creases near edges; moderate scuffing, discoloration spots, and surface impressions (front/back/inner-gate). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); one seam partially split. Spine is mostly easy-to-read with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Columbia House pressing. (Not a cut-out.)
Love Me Again, by Rita Coolidge, began to cross the line from soft rock to adult contemporary music, with Coolidge's soft vocals and glossy period late-'70s production. The standout tunes were the oldies/soul remakes of the Fiestas' So Fine, the Everly Brothers' Bye Bye Love, the Sweet Inspirations' Sweet Inspiration, Fleetwood Mac's Songbird, and Boz Scaggs' Slow Dancer. The record did include a song co-written by brother-in-law and co-producer Booker T. Jones, and a it single in the lightly disco-fied You (no. 25 Hot 100, no. 3 A/C). The title track was also released as a single and charted on the Billboard Hot 100, A/C, and the Country Charts. It was later covered and released as a single for Patti Austin in 1980.
