About this CD:
Nothing but classic hits by Motown's greatest sibling act from Gary, Indiana -The Jackson 5. The first four tracks-"I Want You Back"; "ABC"; "The Love You Save" and "I'll Be There" were all number one hits. "Never Can Say Goodbye"(penned by Clifton Davis of That's My Mama and Amen fame) was one of the two number two hits featured here which I've always favored besides the Isaac Hayes cover but NEVER the Gloria Gaynor disco cover which was for disco lovers only.
Two of Michael's solo hits featured in this collection are "Got To Be There" and "I Wanna Be Where You Are" which are my personal favs of his early solo hits. Germaine's take of "Daddy's Home" is featured here as well. Rounding out this domestic compilation are "Sugar Daddy"; "Maybe Tomorrow" and "Dancing Machine", the last of which was perhaps the ushering of the disco era and the last hit under the Jackson 5 banner before becoming simply The Jacksons and recording for Epic leaving Germaine over at Motown and having younger brother Randy in his place.
