Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s made-for-television gigolo-themed drama, SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH, originally broadcast on NBC on October 1, 1989 and directed by Nicolas Roeg. Based upon the play by Tennessee Williams, a failing, aging movie star takes-up with an ambitious masseur who takes her home, only to show-off in front of his former girl friend and her powerful father.
The image depicts Elizabeth Taylor and Mark Harmon. This actual photograph was used for publication in a newspaper and features grease pencil marks on the front. Affixed to the back is a portion of the corresponding newspaper clipping of this photo as well as a printed caption. It is in very fine- condition as shown.
