This material is considered archival safe as it is chemically stable and as close to PH neutral as technically possible with plastic and does not contain any plasticizers. ISO 9706 is the minimum standard for  > ordinary paper < and does not apply to board, preservation or archive quality materials and does not mean boards are truly acid free. ISO 9706 boards may harm your items. ISO 9706 is associated with discolouring and yellowing. Source iso.org  etc. FYI search ISO 9706. ISO 9706 does not = acid free or safe.
