Very cool find at a recent estate sale! Even better, it writes well.

Interesting in that the top half of the pencil is striped and bottom half is smooth and polished. Consider the possibility that this could be a “frankenpencil” in that two different parts of pencils were put together. Most of the time it doesn’t work. If this is the case, they matched it well. Pencil twists down but does not draw lead back up although you can push it up with your finger after you have rotated it like it retracts up.
