For your consideration is a framed magazine photo of Claire Windsor.  This was from the Brewster Publications in 1924.  The photo was taken by Dahl.  This is an actual magazine page that has been framed.  Claire Windsor was born 4/14/1892 and died 10/24/1972.  She was a silent screen actress who also became a painter.  Louise Dahl-Wolfe (1895-1989) was a photographer for Harpers Bazaar from 1936 - 1958.  Eugene V. Brewster was a movie magazine publisher in the 1920' and 1930's.  He had 3 magazines featuring actresses and actors. They were Motion Picture Magazine, Shadowland and Motion Picture Classic.  He used Brewster Publication on all the magazines.  He had man photos with hand drawn borders.  He was a millionaire but went bankrupt in 1929.  The total size of this piece with frame is 15 1/2" x 17 1/2".  The actual magazine piece is about 8" x 10".
