Description

The 1976 coins are the only Polish circulation coins minted in Warsaw after 1965 without a mint mark.

In the second half of the seventies of the twentieth century, the coin was often counterfeited. Usually these were mints or castings in copper, with a layer of nickel applied in electroplating, which over time underwent abrasion. There were also casts with a deaf hum – non-metallic.
