Vintage Black & White Photo of Wire Service Print This photo is in great condition - measures 7 1/8th" x 5 1/8" and is stamped on the back Acme Photos New York City. It is of policemen guarding the construction site of grandstand for the May 1st celebration (Germany celebrated and still does apparently May day on that date. )By 1923 this park was an airport so this has to be before that and the uniforms on the policemen definitely point to an pre-1914 era.
