Espumizan is used to effectively relieve flatulence (a build-up of gas in the gastrointestinal tract) and to reduce abdominal discomfort, bloating, heaviness in the upper abdomen and rumbling in the gastrointestinal tract.

Espumizan is made of granules produced by modern technology, which dissolve quickly in the mouth. In this way, the active substance reaches the gastrointestinal tract quickly, where it acts. Simethicone acts in a completely mechanical way and is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. Simethicone causes the large amount of foam bubbles that are responsible for the accumulation of gas in the intestines to break down. The foams break down and the gases released in this way can be released naturally.

Active ingredients:

125mg simethicone in 1 sachet.

Dosage:

Children from 6 to 14 years: 1 sachet once before or after a meal. If necessary, the contents of 1 sachet can also be taken in the evening before going to bed. The dose can be increased to 2 sachets per day if necessary. The daily dose should not exceed 3 sachets of simethicone, equivalent to 375mg of simethicone.
Adolescents and adults: 1 sachet extension before or after meals. If necessary, the contents of 1 sachet can also be taken in the evening before going to bed. The dose can be increased to 2 sachets per day if necessary. The daily dose should exceed 8 simethicone sachets, equivalent to 1000mg simethicone.
The granules do not need to be taken with water. They have a nice lemon flavor. Pour them directly onto the tongue and swallow. You can take some water afterwards if you like.

Warnings:

Do not take Espumizane if you are allergic to simethicone or some sugars. The product contains some sugars.
Not suitable for persons under 6 years of age.
Suitable for diabetics.
