Tolsen's 17.5-inch long C-Clip locking pliers are made of hardened chrome-vanadium steel and are nickel-plated. One side of the handle has a bolt which is used to regulate the spacing of the jaws. The other side of the handle has a lever to push both sides of the handles to unlock the plier. When the bolt is turned, the jaws are adjusted to a slightly larger or smaller size than is required to be captured with the jaws closed. Can also hold materials in jaws and be used to support work materials which is not to be touched. These C-clamp gripping/locking pliers have adjustable jaws on the surface and are used to securely grip and hold flat surface objects. It is a practical tool for welding, repairing and grinding.
