• Vintage porcelain dish for holding and serving butter
• Can also serve on a vanity table trinket tray or a candy dish
• 6-sided coffin shaped hexagon with long sides and narrow ends
• Pear green inside, light brown outside walls, gold paint on handles at each end
• Hand painted artwork featuring "hash tag" or "pound sign" images on outside walls
• Made in Japan by Hotta Yu Shoten & Company circa 1920 -1947 (when company was in operation)
• In very good condition with no visible signs of damage or repairs
