Tashiro Shoten Blue Lusterware Creamer & Sugar Bowl with Lid Made in Japan

Here is a beautiful vintage Lusterware creamer and covered sugar bowl from Tashiro Shoten

This company shut down in the 1950's.  Maker's mark is the company's elephant and "Made in Japan" on the bottom

Color is blue opalescent on the outside and opalescent pearl on the inside

The sugar bowl is a little larger than the creamer.  This seems to be the style in these older Japanese tea sets

Sugar bowl stands about 5 inches in height with the lid on and measures about 6 1/2 inches from handle to handle

Creamer stands about 3 3/4 inches in height at the spout and measures about 5 inches from handle to tip of spout

They both are in nice condition with no chips, cracks or breaks.  Sugar bowl does have natural molding pin pricks.
