Not a ball point but a soft tip (medium) Cross pen with a cap and not a twist. 12K gold filled and we are including two of the soft tip refills that while older do still work. There is not currently an ink cartridge in the pen as they dry out rather quickly. We do recommend switching to a roller ball as the ink will last much longer.
