16 Arms Italian brass sputnik chandelier with brass structure and black shades. Inspired by the famous Italian Mid-century lighting from the 1950s and 1960s , this sputnik chandelier has its own unique design and features hand painted brass arms and 16 lights with black painted enamel aluminum spun shades, with ivory white, black or gold shade interiors at your choice. A statement focus piece! The shades can also be ordered in different colors (to be specified by the buyer after the order is placed) . The structure is natural painted brass treated to give a vintage effect.
This sputnik chandelier pays homage to the timeless and iconic style of the Italian Mid Century period. It's vintage effect represent a clear aesthetic approach to pay tribute to the 1960s style lighting. The patina on the brass is done appositely to obtain that vintage effect, it is NOT a defect but an aesthetic detail inspired by the Mid Century lighting of the 1960s and 1970s which gives a unique imprint to these designs.
