A vintage Wolf Kachina doll, hand carved from cottonwood and adorned with intricate details, including soft suede, fur, and shell accents. Artist signed on bottom (Wolf, Cy). The Wolf Kachina holds a special place in Navajo tradition, embodying the essence of loyalty, guardianship, and survival skills that wolves symbolize. As a spiritual guide, the Navajo Wolf Kachina is revered for its protective qualities and strength. Believed to ward off evil spirits and bring blessings to the community, its presence instills courage, resourcefulness, and wisdom in individuals.

The cherished doll has experienced some wear and tear over time. The standing leg was once broken from the base but has been carefully repaired by me, ensuring its continued beauty and story. While a conch that once adorned the fringe ankle wrap is missing, the doll's essence remains unchanged, and its captivating charm is still evident. Please refer to photos carefully for all details.
