What a delightful little gem this is. Children enjoying their very own art class at the Museum of Modern Art. Betty Kathe' is a well known artist. One of her paintings is in the Brooklyn Museum! I have had several wonderful works by her, including one I can't part with of St. Marks Square in Venice. Kathe' died in 1956, so this beautiful watercolor dates from no later than the early fifties or perhaps the late forties. The outside dimensions are 24" x 30" and the work itself is 17" x 22". This would make a wonderful Christmas present or display it in your home for a nostalgic feel for the holidays or year round. Their is a slight darkening of the paper along the left edge (outside of the image) due to the age, but the colors of the image itself are bright and vibrant. I guarantee you will love this picture! This is an original work of art, not a print or copy. FREE SHIPPING
