On offer is a rare Mariya Takeuchi music box that plays the song: "Eki (Station)" This is a Japanese music box item manufactured by Sankyo Music. I purchased this wonderful item from a hobby shop in Hokkaido awhile back and have never seen another one like it. Nidec-Sankyo of Nagano, Japan, is well known as one of the most prolific and high-quality music box producers in the world. This is a 20-note music box and is a vintage item.

This music box plays "Eki (Station)," one of Mariya's greatest hits. The Japanese title is written on a handsome gold-plated placard in front of the music box with an English transliteration underneath. It is housed in a clear "skeleton" case that not only protects the movement but also allows you to watch it operate. Size is 7.5 x 8.5 cm.

The famous Sankyo Music logo is embossed on the gold winding mechanism.
