It also has EW - an Anchor - a Lion - and the letter I ……Stamped on it

This is an English silver case which has a tapered cylindrical form and has clear English silver hallmarks.

The case would have held a cigarette holder or a cheroot.

The case has a suspension loop at one end so it can be attached to a watch chain.
