-The Monte Carlo Concept Car is based off of the Monte Carlo Intimidator, a show car by Chevrolet. Mattel dropped the Intimidator name in early 1999 most likely due to licensing issues. The name can be seen on the back of the blister card on some of the early 1999 First Editions.
