Voted one of England's 100 cultural icons in a project by the British Government's Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the early 7th century Sutton Hoo helmet is widely regarded as one of the most important Anglo-Saxon artefacts ever found.

In fragments when unearthed, extant pieces of the iron and tinned copper alloy helmet have been painstakingly reassembled. Our tea caddy, which draws from the superb fully complete replica based on the reconstruction, reproduces all the helmet's signature decorative features, including the stamped interlacing scrollwork and the 'Dancing Warrior' and 'Fallen Warrior' motifs.
