Dechant’s Railroad Express train track ballast for model railroad layouts is real crushed granite stone. The color is gray, white and dark gray.

 This ballast works well for G scale and garden model railroads and is also great for flower pots and decoration.  

This ballast closely replicates what you would see along today's railroads, and railroads from the past. This ballast in NEW never used and has NO METAL PARTICLES.
