Up for your consideration is a very interesting pattern called Old Curiosity Shop made by Royal China Company.  This piece shows a lock and hinges around the outside of the cup with picture of a book and candlelight. This pattern was made during the 1950s. Approx. 64 years old or older. Makes the perfect table setting for him or her.
