NORTHWEST AIRLINES WINGS PIN Give Kids 1st Flyers Airplane Lapel Plane Vintage This is a vintage WINGS PIN from the NORTHWEST AIRLINES! Back in the day, it was common practice for Airlines "Stewardesses" to give children and first-time flyers a souvenir Wings Pin! This was a good will gesture and of course, promoted the specific airlines. The practice was stopped but some airlines have begun to do it again. Northwest Airlines was absorbed into Delta Airlines back in 2008/2010 so the name no longer exists. This pin is a dark goldtone plastic and shows a set of wings with a red logo in the circle at the top and the name "Northwest" shown in a block below. MARKED/MAKER: Stoffer Seals Tuckahoe NY MATERIALS: Plastic with a metal pin shaft CLASP: C clasp MEASUREMENTS: 2 5/8" CONDITION: This pin is in pre-owned and vintage used condition. The clasp is in full working order. There is scratching and finish wear present. |
